What now for The Olympians?
I will be on BBC London Radio (97.9 FM) this Sunday morning from 9AM talking on the subject of ‘What now for The Olympians?’ I am discussing how they can improve their pitching prowess in order to gain maximum leverage from their magnificent Olympic efforts.
I am really looking forward to working with Jeni Barnett - the hugely talented host. I have listened and watched her on several radio and TV stations over the years but we have never worked together. Two friends who have worked with her recently mentioned how professional and entertaining she is to work with. I presume that is probably one of the reasons why she has been so successful for many years.
Having done a lot of radio over the years, it is always more enjoyable when the presenter can ‘play’. By that I mean someone who is so unconsciously competent at their art, that they can simply engage with you and create a atmosphere of exuberance in the studio so that the conversation and fun can flow.
