Gavin Duffy Reviews The Pitching Bible
I recently met Gavin Duffy, one of the dragons on the Irish version of Dragon's Den, and he has been kind enough to send me a review for my book, The Pitching Bible.
Gavin is very unusual for a successful businessman; he has been a media/communications trainer for 25 years and is exceptionally astute, able to cut to the nub of any business issue. When I was talking to him and mentioned an idea he listened very carfully and then came up with a laser sharp coment that completely summed up the issue and offered a brilliant suggestion that would make the project work. What most impressed me wasn't the idea, it was the care with which he listened, which is sadly something that a lot of people in the media industry don't make time for.
Here is Gavin's book review:
How come you can pick two or three exec’s who are brilliant individual presenters but put them together to make a pitch presentation and you often don’t even get the sum of the parts? The reason, they haven’t read The Pitching Bible by Paul Boross. Boross is the boss when it comes to learning the know-how of successful, effective and memorable pitching.
