Be there or Be Square-Eyed
I have been going to the Edinburgh TV Festival for many years and it is always a pleasure to meet old friends in the TV business. Anyone who is anyone in British TV is there and there are always very interesting and well produced sessions featuring the biggest names in International Television.
The Edinburgh International Television Festival offers delegates the chance to mingle with the great and the good and offers a series of exciting sessions, events and networking receptions. This year there will be extremely varied masterclasses by people from Duncan Bannatyne to Keith Lemon and the creators of Sherlock (Stephen Moffat and Mark Gatiss – who I just worked with at The Danish TV Festival) to The Only way is Essex. My session, 'The Pitch Doctor’s Guide to Networking' is aimed at the new people attending for the first time who want to better understand how to properly network with the myriad of movers and shakers.
